Aspidogaster conchicola Skeletal Structure
Like all other Platyhelminthes, the Aspidogaster conchicola has no skeleton. It does have a large ventral opisthaptor that streches the length of its body and is divided into sections called alveoli. It has a horizontal layer of muscle and connective tissue that help it move around.
